EC3 Brokers appoints new head of broking
EC3 Brokers announces the appointment of James Murphy to the newly-created role of head of broking. Murphy joined on 1 May from Integro and will be responsible for expanding EC3 Broking’s marketing activities and developing new partnerships.
EC3 Brokers CEO Danny Driscoll said: “In building successful international professional indemnity (PI) divisions for Howden Insurance Brokers and Prime Professions, James has extensive knowledge of growing a profitable business in this market and he will also bring his expertise in managing and developing global MGAs as part of a diverse portfolio of business.”
Murphy has worked in the London market for 29 years, starting with Nelson Hurst and Marsh in 1990. Throughout his career Murphy has focused on placing business in the London market for UK and international clients, developing long-standing relationships with underwriters, managing the insurance needs of clients, and servicing wholesale broker portfolios from across the globe.
