Skuld announces retirement of Claes Lindh
Skuld, a leading marine insurance provider, today announces the semi-retirement of Claes Lindh, a member of Skuld’s executive management team and a well-known and popular figure in the industry, who has decided to stand down after more than 10 years at the company.
Lindh steps down formally on 1 January but will continue in a part-time role for two years as a senior adviser to Skuld’s executive management. In his new role Lindh will continue to help with special tasks and assignments but limited to assisting the executive management.
Lindh will also retain his position on the Cefor board until the next Cefor AGM in April 2018, and he will keep his position in Skuld Bermuda as a member of the underwriting committee.
Ståle Hansen, Skuld president and CEO, said: “I want to say a big thank you to Claes for his invaluable contribution to Skuld’s successful developments over the past 10 years. His partial retirement is a good solution for continuous support from Claes where we can use his experience and knowledge in the continuing development of Skuld as a world leading marine insurance provider.
“It’s been a true pleasure to have Claes as a colleague in the executive management during this period and with his vast experience in marine insurance he has been a mentor for many of us. I am truly grateful that Claes is willing to continue to share his knowledge for a few more years. We wish him all the best when entering a new phase of his career in Skuld.”
