Ed bolsters cyber offering with appointment of Henry Warner
Ed, the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, today announced the appointment of Henry Warner as Cyber Broker/Producer. He takes up his role with immediate effect and will report to James Baird, divisional director, professional and executive risks (ProEx).
Warner will play a key part in the continued development of Ed’s cyber book. He will also support the creation of a cyber centre of excellence. Warner joins from SafeOnline where he served as a cyber, media and technology, broker. He began his career at Marsh as a client adviser for cyber and professional indemnity risks.
James Baird, Director at Ed, said, “Henry is an excellent addition to our growing team. He has already made a name for himself in the cyber market based on his expertise and client focus. The introduction of GDPR in May, coupled with the increasingly visible impact of cyber-attacks on businesses, has heightened the need for robust and relevant cyber insurance cover. Henry will play a key role in ensuring our offering evolves with the needs of clients. I am very pleased to welcome him to the team.”
