Novae Group plc (Novae), the specialist listed Lloyd’s insurer, today announces Dan Trueman has been promoted to Chief Innovation Officer. He retains his position as head of cyber and will report directly to Rob Forster, Chief Underwriting Officer. This follows the decision to create a specific cyber sub-division within the Casualty division to take full advantage of opportunities in this class of business.
Dan Trueman, Chief Innovation Officer at Novae, said: “I am delighted to be taking on this new position within Novae; cyber is a rapidly evolving market and we are in a strong position. We have built an excellent cyber offering at Novae thanks to the support and vision of Bob Patten and the senior management team.”
Rob Forster, Chief Underwriting Officer at Novae, said: “Novae has emerged as a leading player in the global cyber market and establishing a cyber sub-division will afford us the speed, flexibility and innovation needed to compete in this market. Dan in his new role, will continue to raise our profile in the cyber market and we look forward to working with him and his team to grow this class.”
